Rug Appraisals
The insured value of an antique or semi-antique oriental rug is quite a bit higher than the market value (for replacement purposes) and is typically lower than the sentimental value. It is recommended to have the value of any appraised item(s) in the home assessed every 5 years.
We will come to your home for a nominal fee and produce an appraisal of each of your rugs including identification, knot count, a complete description and an estimate of the market value. This appraisal will be based on our combined experience and schooling.
