Carpet Pads (Cushion/Underlayment)

Let our expert staff provide professional advice on quality padding that can suit your area rug or oriental underlayment needs. Whether your rug is on a hard surface or on carpet, we carry a variety of non-slip pads that will protect your area rugs from premature wear while adding the element of comfort. Our quality pads carry replacement warranties from 10 to 20 years and are custom cut to your rug's dimensions. All replacements are handled directly by our office. WunderFIRM

This is carpet cushion for area rugs that lays flat on top of grout lines, mortar joints and warped hardwood floors. It gives the feel of more body to thin and lightweight rugs. It is 1/4" thick and is fabricated with a polyester fiber top and a soft rubber backing. This backing is designed to provide good non-slip properties, and at the same time, will not leave a mark or damage the floor underneath. WunderFIRM is reversible. You can use it with the felt side down for area rugs on top of carpeting.

WunderGRIP

WunderGRIP is constructed of 100% pure vinyl with 3600 gripper/shock absorbers per square foot to keep rugs firmly in place over smooth floors. Impact resistance means longer pile life. Rugs will not be strained by shimmying or shifting. The open construction allows the rug to breathe, evaporating moisture immediately. It is thus easier to vacuum and dirt is more readily removed. WunderGRIP is warranted to maintain all non-slip properties for 20 years. Moreover, it is washable, which will extend both the rug and pad life.

Wunder-LOCK

WunderLOCK is guaranteed to hold any rug flat and in place on any carpet. It cannot damage any rug or carpet and actually adds to the life of both the rug and carpet by reducing friction. Wunder-LOCK is made with a "dry" adhesive that will adhere to any textile surface but is not transferable and is nonaggressive. It is specially knitted so as not to leave fibers on carpeting or on the bottom of the area rug. It will keep corners from curling up and traveling along carpeting. Wunder-LOCK is especially useful for rugs that "creep" due to high traffic areas. You can easily apply this product to your rug or for an additional fee, we can apply it for you.

Grooming Rakes

Grooming rakes enable you to set the pile in one direction, lifting matted pile and releasing embedded dirt. Groom your carpets before vacuuming and see how much more dirt can be picked up! Groom your carpets after vacuuming and you will have a smooth and luxurious carpet pile.

Fringe Rakes

When vacuuming oriental rugs and other area rugs with fringe, vacuum from side to side (opposite the fringes). This will save the fringes from being pulled up into the vacuum which can damage the fringes and even the vacuum. Our fringe rakes can be used to remove soil from the fringes and also straighten them.
